The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!

FYI: Latest Microsoft Updates cause crashes regarding authentication

Scheduled Pinned Locked Moved FAF support (client and account issues)

I have now similar issues like some of you, and after "some" research (hours) i have at least found the cause. Since the October update Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 systems are affected.

The reasons are failing authentication due to mismatching SIDs because of changes in the string logic for those SID identifiers.

What are the actual effects regarding FAF:

      • Multiplay and Login into FAF fails (displaying different error codes due to different offsets pointing to the SID)
      • Java identifiers fail, causing Mods to crash
      • Inconsistency in displaying the home screen of FAF

Looking inside the troubling services the issue has no workaround.
However, trying to login multiple times after fails may succeed.

      Sauce of investigation:

@Legendary_Cyrus What have you done to resolve this problem? I have 25H2, and I don't have this issue.

I haven't done anything which helped. I just tried many times just out of frustration. Then suddenly it worked. It is completely random. I updated my Windows to 25H2, but i still have this issue. It is depending of the update the system (might) has installed.
