As in title, would it be possible to have the amount of players in-game for each Q showed?
Cuz as it currently stands I find it hard to judge if the Q is actually alive and players are simply in-game or if the Q is dead and I'm gonna waste 1.5h again just for one 15 minute shitfest even though there is 1.6k people online which.
Something like that.

Title is pretty self explanatory. I would like to ask if it's possible and feasible to introduce MMR penalty for premade teams in 2v2 and 4v4 match makers in the same way that many other games do. That is raise their overall team trueskill rating by certain amount of points per every premade teammate.
Obviously I'm also open to discussion why someone thinks it's a bad idea and that coms and simply playing with people whose faf gaming habits you know, is not that much of advantage when going up against a team of 4 randoms whose overall true skill rating is exactly the same as of the premade team without the premade MMR penalty.
They are colour based. Red note is from red player, white is from FtX etc. And if there is hundreds of them then Foley is dead.
While I can see it helping out in low rated games, it will ruin some of the more complex play in higher brackets due to killing off some of the strategies that thrive on abusing other players early or doing unconventional plays.
Imo totally not worth the time for higher bracket games, or any games in competitive scenario as it makes it impossible to properly abuse other players in early game as recovering from first bomber will be much easier.
As for casts? Skill issue kappa. Instead of looking at the BO caster should try to speak about the map and players. What type of gameplay the map is promoting and what can we expect the players to do? What kind of cheeky plays are possible etc. So it's not fault of BO's being boring but rather FAF casters (me included) being just bad.
Am I the only now who thinks that this responses are actually kinda pathetic? And are only made here and now considering they can directly profit from them as they make for nice PR stunts during the elections?
How is it that before the whole election you wouldn't even think about answering those questions. Hell you could have answered those so long ago but do it only now when it's clear that you will profit from it.
So, why only now, why didn't you actually try to make this a better place before you set your sights at becoming the PC?
Exactly what others have said, this isn't King's of setons clutch tournament and I have no clue who allowed for the avatars to be even used in a tournament that's not even trying to determine the best people on clutch. Not to mention the addition of nomads...
As much as I would love to watch it, I can't say I'm to thrilled about your usage of the "king of map" brand in a tournament that is anything but that...
I think one of the problems that you aren't just willing to look at is the presentation to new players.
This is something that Biass and FtX have to watch out for.
Sure the map gen is great addition for us seasoned players who are all sick of BO whoring and want less competitive enviroment where burden of map knowledge is kept to minimum. We can also live with smaller and bigger mistakes like terrain not being obvious or something, as we are getting the kick out of finding new random map to play on. We are fine with ugly decals as long as we don't get to play the same game of burden of knowledge for the first 10 minutes of the game as to how to expand on certain maps or how to not lose the game at minute 11 by having worse Air BO.
But new players won't be as amazed, they will be pissed for having to fight against game again and again where nothing makes sense to them. Them getting a bad map will be much more impactful compared to us. Them seeing ugly map compared to what they can see on current ladder will also look strange. Why are they playing on ugly maps with pathfinding problems when there are hundreds of great hand crafted maps available to them.
Not to mention the fact that with random maps they will never get to feel at home seeing the same map for 3-4 time and now kinda knowing what to play on that map. Instead they will be faced with the daunting experience of having to play against not only enemy but also against brand new map with each new game.
Not to mention the fact that the newbies will have even harder time getting accustomed to setting economy up and running when they have to learn how to improvise BO each and every time they enter the match. What you all want to do is all nice and dandy if you are seasoned player who already have played the game for a while and is accustomed to it's problems.
But a new player? You are literally inviting living hell upon them and making sure that the ladder experience will become even more daunting to many of them as they get scared of yet another layer of unknown.
Sad caster noises:
Bases? What bases?
Like somebody should teach me how to speak "Igirisu".

After seeing this BO's I have cured my FAF depression and actually played some games today!

Sera destros been loosing to t2 subs for effin years. I have no clue what cool aid you have been huffing...
Petric was abusing t2 submarines vs sera years ago...
No? It was like 5-10s before until people got fed up with cybran and sera abusing it. So what we currently have is a nerfed version of it.
MML shouldn't be counterable by TMD unless you pour massive amounts of mass into defense imo. Cybran is just what MML should be like.
For the love of god, please make it optional if for what ever reason this gets implemented. The amount of stuff that this can make go wrong is just stupid. This will literally fuck up 100% time at the beginning of the game, and even later on. To the point it might be even game losing considering the way it will waste resources by starting to automatically produce something that's not needed, only cuz it was close to another factory....
The roll off time is part of balance discussion like it or not. Read Thomases post and maybe it will dawn on you why it invites balance discussion.
Like it or not. Your problem is part of balancing discussion. @Serpentor
Imagine if this man stepped out of his dual gap. All his problems with the patch would suddenly disappear. Magic.
Identify a problem: Sniper bots are currently overcrowding the mid and late T3 stage. Making it so producing percies or even bricks is often nothing but asking to lose as those units are gonna get kited to death by the snipergruppe.
It even comes to the point that later on you can totally forget about making anything but shield + sniper combo as nothing is gonna come close to your deathball. Not only killing the unit diversity of opposing factions but also the faction itself where the no-brain shield+sniper just outperforms mainline T3 units which I think should be part of the land game until very late game where Rambo bois come out + experimentals.
Showcase the problem: Honestly any bigger game with open enough space can be seen to produce unhealthy amounts of the snipergruppes into the mid and late T3 stage. I believe there are many cases that have been seen over the last few months as such I will refrain from scrounging up random replays.
Solution: Due to the overreliance on shield spam I would like to propose introducing E cost to running it's main weaponry. Making it so it's way harder to maintain the snipergruppe shielded at all times unless you actually invest into T3 power.
Justify: It gives the balance team a brand new lever to deal with the obnoxious sniper spam and makes it so if player doesn't scale his power properly he is risking losing all the shields after a group of 30 snipers fire at once and also losing DPS as he enters a power stall.
I also don't think it's unheard thing to do considering we already have stuff like ravagers or t2 and t3 arty take E to shoot. It's also showed off to run just fine in SCTA mod so it is certainly possible to implement.
