    And with this you just showed how much you don't understand.

    Percy is 1.3k mass and leaves 1.05k mass in reclaim. Meaning you need to deal at least 2.35k damage in mass if you lose it.

    T2 mex is 900 mass and leaves 720 mass in reclaim not accounting for overkill and aoe, which in case of single percival shouldn't happen. Meaning that at the moment of killing mex you deal only 180 mass damage to your opponent.
    Obviously even though it looks bad it's not as bad due to mass damage accumulating with time, but at 6 mass per second it is still gonna take a lot of time to make the percy raid worth while.
    So sorry but killing single t2 mex is by no fucking means a good raid, even more if you lose percy in return...

    And please, don't give me shit how you are gonna kill the reclaim when we both fully know that you aren't capable of doing it, not to say coming up with the idea of killing off the reclaim in enemy territory.

    Or you know? Maybe start paying attention to your subs? If you can actually put in effort to micro aurora then maybe you can also put some effort into sub micro? Why are you supposed to be rewarded for brain dead clicking attack move compared to your enemy spending lot of APM to micro his battleships?

    Also where are the replays showing how bad the groundfire is? I could agree about atlantis getting some love but going about removing ground fire is nothing short of heavy handed resolution that you could expect from Polish goverment.

    In this case imo there's no reason to get apu. Look maybe into getting older 6 core AMD one. Like the one I have 2600, or maybe even 1600AF. Slightly slower single core but it will do better in longer term due to more cores etc.

    Something should be done about blatant T1 power creep.

    Many players have probably noticed how most of the games tend to end up on t1 stage and wondered why so many pros just default to t1 units for the biggest part of the game. But after running few tries and sandboxes it became clear that t1 units are just blatantly overpowered in their mass to effectiveness ratios.

    Just look at mantis or striker, this units are everywhere. They are made in every game for such a long time that one really should start to wonder what is wrong with the balance that this units are made fucking everywhere in low level and pro games... It should be clear that they are overpowered if we are seeing them 20-30 minutes into the games on ladder and in every teamgame that is not astrocrater!!!

    I even took it upon myself to check out if cybran t1 maa can kill monkey! 20k mass in experimental vs 20k mass in t1 maa. Guess what. THe maa just murders the monkey! A t1 maa! Imagine what overpowered t1 mantis or striker would do to it. IT would leave nothing, just fucking shame one the balance team for allowing this state of blatant t1 power creep to stay in the game...

    Just fix it, lower the cost of t2 HQ and t3 HQ so we can actually enjoy some supreme tactical gameplay that isn't spam the overpowered t1 units...

    Also accounted for t2 pgen cost to run the shields(960 mass)
    MML x16=3200 mass vs 4/5 t2 pgen 960m + x4 Tmd 1120m + x2 shield 1200m = 3280mass.

    So the post saying that it takes 10 fucking minutes to break this shitty firebase is straight up lying and should be removed for spreading misinformation.
    Not to mention I could shave up to 20-30s on breaking the bases if I were to actually properly micro the MML...

    Tbh I would see it as hub for tournament streams, where if it's online then I can tune in and be sure that I'm watching "official" coverage of currently ongoing tourney. Though I'm not sure how to even properly get system for it running, like dunno we could get list of people with access to the channel and then have tournament TD ask if they are willing to cast the games live.
    Although on the other hand not sure if it won't be better to just have them cast on personal channel.

    Other things? Where are my BTTV Emotes? I wanna pepeJAMJAM + RainboiwPls to music and CoffinPLZ when snipe happens.

    1000ms tick rate is the only solution. It will also make very little difference to the game, no matter what people want to gripe about. If it was set to 1000ms the vast majority of players wouldn't even notice. In fact, they would be so much happier that half of the games started don't end up being re'd because of lags.

    An even better solution would be to have an adjustable tick rate. Manually or dynamically. Pipe dream probably.

    The issue is simply this:
    any aussie can easily play with any regular player from anywhere in the world.
    BUT
    when a player from somewhere else in the world has a shitty connection (spotty wifi, copper cable with rust / errors, etc) they experience dropped packets. These dropped packets are intermittent. This means that they might have 100ms ping 90% of the time, and 400ms ping 10% of the time. When you combine 400ms intermittent ping with 400ms australian ping = intermittent 800ms ping spikes and a herky-jerky gameplay that drives everyone nuts.

    The truth is that 1000ms ping would remove 99% of intermittent ping packet loss issues and would effectively solve the problem of australian players "ruining" games.

    The truth is that australians are not actually the problem. The problem is packet loss from russian players with shitty wifi / copper cable quality. BUT this problem only becomes apparent when an aussie joins a game. So is the russians fault or the aussies fault? Both?

    It's the fault of the game for having a tick rate that is JUST A BIT too low to be workable. Even a 700ms tick rate would fix 80% of the ruined games.

    As an Australian player with 2000 games I know what I'm talking about.

    Just because some of you guys don't experience this issue because you play when the other half of the world is asleep doesn't mean it isn't a massive problem for a lot of players.

    And Lu7ky - I have literally the most expensive highest quality cable consumer internet connection available in australia with the most expensive ISP. 100mbps/40mbps, 15ms ping to the exchange (I live right near it), 0% packet loss, no jitter.

    Just in case you guys don't realise how bad this issue has gotten - from my logs I've been kicked from 70% of every single game I've joined. WITHOUT showing a high ping. Simply because of my australian flag. I've even learned how to read "kick australian" in russian. (it looks like "KIKIKIKI ABCLKJV") And I actually don't cause lag in the majority of games I play. The problem is a major one. So either ban all aussies or fix the problem. Because it's a toxic nightmare for an entire country at the moment.

    1000ms will break the game for many players. Ui is already slow and unresponsive compared to many other games, not to say that it gets worse the worse connection is. So saying that nobody will see the change is blatant lie, if anything the game will feel like it's permanently lagging and apparently that's what you are trying to fight...

    So the problem is not the tick-rate but bad connection? Lul, who would have thought? So maybe instead get better connection or start a proper list of people you can play with? Cuz maybe it's problem with your connection if you are getting kicked all the time and many people are complaining that you have bad connection?

    No the truth is that 1000ms delay makes the game unplayable, I'm sorry but fucking chess are gonna be more responsive that supcom, like the game is already fucking hard to play for people like me who are used to proper responsive gameplay instead of looking at the game trying to compute what command I just issued and then taking another few years to acknowledge it and perform...

    Anyway this tells us nothing at all, so what that you have good connection to aussies if the connection might be getting fucked somewhere along the way, but I guess you didn't try any proxies or anything to check this out right?

    So far the toxic nightmare is reading your way on how to fix your problems. Even when the fix is to literally "MAKE YOUR FUCKING OWN LOBBIES INSTEAD OF JOINING RUSSIAN ASTRO GAMES"....
