@ovo yea we know that now but devs did not, air was ment to be assisted on ground units to patrol over them and similar feats.
And even if you and I know that many plebs do not so they use patrol on air units as a form of gate keeping.

If we haven't answered doesn't necessarily mean we declined your application. We are onboarding new moderators at a steady pace and have all the applications still stored. It would be less than ideal to get 7 or some other larger number of new moderators on to the team at once, and try to get everyone acquainted with moderation tasks, tools etc.
I apologize it was not meant to be as attack on you or the mod team but i will call it fair game that people who signed up to be moderators or other duties that FAF is looking or searching for they should be at very least be updated and not put them on hold for seven+ months (in my chase at least). And i do know that it is not on you for process being so long but reported games have piled up almost twice in the number from what i heard, and yet no new moderators have been picked to help them out even if is temporarily.
Tho on that note you did offered me later on if i wanted to update my application to push it more up to mod team so i will commend that respectfully.
@morax no, I'm not trying to get moderator status with this post. I applied to become a moderator, but any information about this has died down. I would be happy to help sort out the reports with all the rigor of the law and complete composure.
Irony is i tried to sign up for a moderator so i can help them out with going over the reports in the games but many months passed and i heard no words from them.
If they declined me i would love to know.
I think it was me who was complaining about it along with someone else in the VC during testing of three versus three and four versus four match making. I am still will stand by the original statements that i have made.
While your maps are pretty and your work deeply appreciated if it comes at the cost of player enjoyment due to unable to load into a game or preformace issue then it might be the time to tone down the amount that it goes into making a single map for the sake of players... If no other viable solution can be found that is.
I was on mobile (tho still good and viable) connection that day i still feel that map should not take over 5 min to download since i "almost" never expect it to. We should maybe more go gradually about increasing the map size to see where the viable limit is where map makers are gonna be happy and players gonna be less annoyed.
One side question that i have, does increasing the amount of decals increase the loading time for the map?
I am starting to feel that some newer map have "bit" longer load times.
Over day I am in discord server and fairly active in gameplay and training text channel, there you will find help as fast as anyone else. Arma over here is also active trainer and he as much any one else who train people will help you to improve your gameplay.
Best advice i can give you for your troubled times is to join "All welcome" games tilt you get out of the "gray" area.
First of all, fallow this thread for balance guidelines https://forum.faforever.com/topic/759/balance-thread-guidelines
Second... Air would be too dominant across-the-board with your proposed changes.
"Snipes and ACU death are a core aspect of this game. It should be relevant especially in a competitive matchmaker for quick games.
There is nothing wrong with a snowball victory after an ACU kill, games need to end anyway. People join TMM to play 2v2, it is fine for the game to usually end quickly after becoming 2v1. When the game is over, you can join a new one."
- Games do end, it seems like you have a problem not ending how you imagined it, hoping you can kill a weak player and the stronger player will just fallow suit.
2v2 is less rewarding to low-rated snipe and luck reliant players than it would be with regular game rules (= Share Until Death). This probably affects its popularity at least at low rating.
-Yes. It should be less rewarding, it should be more about team gameplay rather than soloing and putting hope it will be enough.
"Sniping an ACU is always good in 1v1, and almost always good in global. In 2v2 it has no effect. The (surviving) units and structures pass to the ally. The ACU explosion destroys the attacking army of one player.
Especially for beginners the game is not some grand eco and wisdom game, but closer to:
1.)??? 2:)Gunships! 3.)Profit"
- Gameplay advice, scout and play accordingly. You are still gonna have more t1 spam then your opponent who just died.
And now after watching the game you kind of deserved to lose that, you have not full scouted his base not even once while your ally was struggling with his opponent. You have done just about nothing to help him out while you where losing units and giving mass away to your opponent i suppose it was a surprise to you when he attacked back from the spot you attacked him lol. Stayed in the middle without ever knowing what your opponent had, good riddance.
Interested into helping testing the live replay function.
I am at discord contact me anytime under same username.
As for my feedback with the current one it does break 1 in 5 games that i watch live with minimal input on my end. (Sometimes i leave it as a background noise and replay ends the game with no acu dead.)
One possible outcome out of this is that new player will just start bunker them self's up much like ladder gatekeepers and win that way. And at that point we just accidentally made more cancer and problems then it would be solving.
I just looking this from a different angle, I do like an idea of tools being used to motivate new players to keep on playing in both ladder and global games.
I a pleb who is active at teaching new plebs how to play a game, anything below 1000 rated both global or ladder i am capable of teaching you tips and tricks and hints to improve your gameplay experience and teaching you to use your own brainpower to be capable of analyzing the game yourself.
