<![CDATA[FAF Client 2025.9.1 No Longer Connecting To Custom Games]]>Hey everyone, I'm hoping to get some support regarding the lastest updat the FAF to version 2025.9.1 which I've just installed this morning.

I'm not longer able to connect to any custom games. I can see the listing of games but once I've opened the game, it loads the SupremeCommand program and sits on the black screen with "Connecting..." and the abort button.
Its now sitting on this screen perminantely. I can press the abot button and it closes out so it hasn't frozen.

I've tried resetting my modem, I've uninstalled FAF while removing the game data and reinstalling.
I'm still getting the connection issue.

Any suggestions?

I'm in South Korea. Since the 2025.9.1 update, I have been unable to play the game. The client gets stuck on “connecting” indefinitely. I have tried all possible solutions, but the issue persists. I hope this problem will be resolved quickly.

I have the same issue.. the debugger goes straight from "checking" to disconnected for all players. (I'm in NZ)

I was able to connect with a VPN, but my crappy free proton account wouldn't let me stay connected and the ping was high (300+) to players that I'm normally <100 to because of the US routing.

Strange.. i'm in Australia. Youre right, if I setup my VPN to connect to LA I can connect to games fine.. but if I close the VPN I again cannot connect to anyone.

I've tried several other VPN locations, London (no connection), New York (no connection), Berlin(no connection), LA (connection), Las Vegas (connection).

Have just connected to another australia hosted game.

You should effectively have the exact same connectivity as with 2025.9.0

I can connect to other Australia or NZ players, or I can connect to US players with a US VPN... but it definitely seems AUS/NZ has been isolated.
