FAF Client not being able to run

I have installed the latest FAF update and now I find that I am not being able to run the FAF client. I have double clicked on the program on the desktop as usual but nothing works. It does not even register as a process in task manager?

Would there be any way to get this running again?

Do you have a client.log file in your log folder?

I do not see anything with client.log

Is there any way to get this?

"For those who are running on windows 7 changing the .vmoptions file in your client installation and changing the line -XX:+UseZGC to -XX:+UseG1GC should allow the client to run"

I have already rolled back the version after seeing that this works for now.
