This is an 8 team - 3 v 3 - Double Elimination tournament,
where each team wears team colors, and
1-4 AI armies are added on every map as a
common enemy to both sides.

Registration is open to All players.
Register as a Single, or
Register as a 2 player team
Singles are assigned Captains status or
placed in the draft pool.
Teams are restricted to a max combined rating of 4.1K*.
*Captain's rated >2.2K - use a 2.2K cap for pre-draft registration.

Registration ends: Feb 28th,
and the Draft commence's Mar 1st.

Post #2: Team Colors, Mods, Options, Directions and Rules

Team Colors: --Here are the Rainbow Cup VI - Team Colors.
Each team's 3 players must use one of the 6 team colors in displayed below.

Team #1------ Reds, Oranges and Yellows,
Team #2 ------ Blues, Indigo, Violet and White.
AI #3 ---------- Greens.
AI #4------------Pinks

Mods: Load only the specified AI Mods for each scenario.

Options: Reset ALL options to default,
then set only these options:
1- Share Conditions: Full Share
2- AIx Omni Settings: Off
3- AIx Cheat and Build multipliers: As specified.

Directions:
When there are 3 start spawns:
Captains can pick any side or color.
If they can not agree....
!Roll for the map side or color.
The !Roll winner gets to choose one,
and the loser gets to choose the other.

When there are > 3 start spawns:
Follow this procedure to select team starting positions:
1- !Roll - winner chooses to be either - "Team 1" or "Team 2".
2- Team 1 - chooses side of map, team color, and set's up first.
3- Team 2 - sets up second.
4- Team 1 - can start play "as is", or
---- make a "one time only/permanent" position change.
5- Team 2 - can start play "as is", or
----make a final positional change - "get the last move"
6- Position AI, set factions, and color.
7- Close any open positions
8- Launch Game.

Rules:
1- Players must be in an official Team Color
If a player who is Not in an "official team color",
is spotted by a player on the opposing team,
before the 5 minute mark, the opposing team may
"Pause" the game and force a Re-host.
Multiple infractions may be cause for a game loss or 'dq'.
2- Play until one human team is defeated,
by either the opposing human team or the AI,
the remaining team is the winner of that game.

Post #4: Player Registration and Draft Process

Players register as a Single, or
as a 2 Player Team - with a 4.1K combined RC rating cap.
Captains rated >2.2K have their rating capped at 2.2K,
for pre-draft registering purposes.

The top 8 rated players registered as either
a Single or as a Team, are made - One of Eight Team Captains

Team Draft Process
Round 1 of draft:
Draft starts with the 8th seeded Captain and
continues sequentially up thru ALL 8 Captains.

When it is a Single Captains turn to draft, he may:
choose ANY player in the draft pool,
whether or not the combined team total is >4.1K.

When it is a 2 player Team Captain's draft turn,
he has TWO options:
1: He may "Pass" and Keep his Pre-Draft registered partner, or
2: He may "Trade" his Pre-Draft registered partner and
----------"Draft" - ANY player in the draft pool.
The traded player is Immediately placed into the draft pool.
Round 2 of draft:
8th seeded Captain drafts Any player in the draft pool.
Draft continues up to 1st seeded Captain.

Registration will be "fluid" , and
Captains may change their single status or teammate,
at anytime, up to end of the registration period.

Post #5: RC Tournament Rating Calculation method:

To calculate a players RC tournament rating:
The players highest 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 or Global-50 rating is used.

If the players highest rating, is of a game type - with less than 200 games played...
we proportional blend the players next highest rating to obtain a RC rating.
The next highest rating - will "be weighted" with the number of games needed
to make up a 200 game history.

Example:
A "Player" has the below ratings:
1v1 = 1,740 and 257 games,
2v2 = 1,865 and 38 games,
4v4 = 2,206 and 104 games +
Global=2,165 and 1,215 games

This players highest rating is his 4v4 rating of 2,206 with 104 games.
To make up a 200 game average - we take his next highest rating, which is
his Global rating of 2,165 (subtracting 50 pts = 2,115)

This players rating is thus calculated as follows:
4v4(2,206 x 104 games) + Glb(2,115 x 96 games) = 432,464 / 200 = 2,162 RC Rating.

TD will assign the RC ratings, just sign up below with a "sign me up" comment.

Players Ratings used are from this leaderboard screen shot taken on Jan 6th.
Large pink dots are factored ratings, small pink dots are non-factored ratings.

Post #7: Game Map/Scenario example

How the game maps are released:
Only the maps and the games they will be played in,
will be disclosed before the start of the tournament.

One hour before each tournament day starts -
that days map's setup details will be updated here.

AI positions will be shown, with their factions pre-selected.
Closed spawn sites are shown, and
any remaining spawns Not closed, are open for players.

Reset All options to default each game, and
set only the 2 tourny specific options in green outline box.

AI Cheat and Build multipliers will be from:
a low of 1.0 (AI) to a high of 1.4x (AIx)
and will be displayed in pink outline box and in the Cheat/Build column.
This map has 6 "open" spawns for each team to choose to start from.

Post #10: Prize Pool Pay Outs

Pay outs will be done thru Pay Pal.
Sponsor will pay up to the standard ~$6.00 transfer fee.
or up to 1 international transfer fee,
Any fee's above $6.00 or 1 international fee,
will be subtracted from the pay out prize.

If prize monies are unable to be paid out due to local/regional restrictions,
monies can be held by sponsor until a later time or
transferred to and "held" in the FAF Treasury.

The Rainbow Cup series of tournaments do not
necessarily endorse, represent or have any
affiliations with any other groups.

The Rainbow Cup Tournaments are
fun FFA action with AI, while in team colors.

Registration is now open.

We use the highest leaderboard rating (200 game minimum)
Global rating has 50 points subtaracted from rating.

If highest rating is of a game type with - less than 200 games played...
We will proportional blend the players next higest ratings to obtain a RC rating.

The next highest rating - will "be weighted" with the number of games needed
to make up a 200 game history.

Ie: A "player" has the below ratings:
