To be a captain... you have to sign up with another player as a 2 person team.

Players that sign up as Doubles AND
make up the top 12 combined avg rated team are seeded 1 - 12.
(the higher rated player of the 2 person team is considered the captain)

Then the 12 teams will pick "draft" from the Singles pool to make up their 3rd team member.

If you sign up as a single (as you have)

• you have to wait until registration is over and hope to
  be drafted on to one of the 12 teams.

But...
YOU can always join with a friend at any time,
and then be a captain of one of the 12 teams,

You can also ask any of the other singles in the draft pool now, to join you.
(the players in the single's pool are "free agents" and can join with
anyone, at any time, if they so choose, or
they can remain in the singles pool and wait for the draft.)

This tourney is to allow 2 Friends to sign up and play together, AND
also allow singles to sign up,
for opportunity to get drafted on to one of the established teams.

The registration process is "Fluid", and
you can change your registration status at any time,
from a single - to part of a doubles team,
break up your team and change partner,
break up team and change to single, OR
if you are a single - recruit a player from the draft pool at
any time to make a 2 person team.

Ask a friend to join you, or
contact some in the draft pool now to join with you, or
wait until later date to join with someone else.

If you Don't join with a friend, and choose to remain as a single........

• You have a very high rating - and will "Most Likely" get drafted onto one of
  the 12 two person teams.

If we D'ONT have 12 teams before the draft starts,
(but have 36 players total)
we will make the highest rated single draftee's captains,
(most likely you, if you don't pick a partner before draft)
and then have them draft one team mate from the singles pool,
to create a 2 person team.
We will then "Re-Seed" the 2 man teams, by avg combined rating,
and then start the draft.

I think because it's still early, and
people want to make sure they have the weekend clear, and
are probably still finding friends to sign up with.

If there are less than 12 teams by registration deadline,
we will divide the total # of players by 3 and make that many teams.
If more singles are in the draft pool than teams, then
the top singles become Capt's and make first pick of draft pool to make 2 player team.
After the decided upon number of 2 player player teams have been formed,
the Teams are reordered by combined ratings, and
then the draft for the 3rd team member is started by the lowest seeded team and
continues to next lowest seed, and up to highest seed team having the last draft pick.

Starting with Adaptive Tournament Decision as Map #1 of Tourny for the 3rd time running, (perhaps RCVI too?)
RCIII was AI-Uveso, RCIV was RNGAI, and this year SwarmTerrorAI shines in Tourny Opener.
Choice of 5 spawn sites to set up on.

Map #10 = Adaptive Regor Highlands.
Uveso AI was originally scheduled to play this map in RCIV, but was swapped out last minute.
Now is its' chance to show why it was first choice originally.

First DilliDalli AI is on:
Map #13 = Plateau of Arracis.
DilliDalli and RNG were paired together in the RCIV and did well together.
This year DilliDalli will try it alone!
