Client Log in not working?

Anyone else experiencing their client log-in failing? It tries to log in then fails and asks me to log in with my browser. I do that but its not connected to FAF.

I am traveling international for work- perhaps that is screwing it up?

I uninstalled and re-installed client with no luck.

Let me know if you have a fix for me! Thank you!

There is the error-

com.faforever.commons.lobby.LoginException: Could not reach server after 12 attempts

win+r -> cmd -> telnet 116.202.155.226 8002

if telnet not exist -> control panel -> programs and features -> Turn Windows features on or off -> Check Telnet client and try again.

Something is blocking internet access to lobby server

Tried this and it says cannot open connection to host port 8002 failed?

I'm thinking that because I am in the different country there is some setting I need to change to make it work, but can't figure it out.

@Bluegill Have you tested it with a VPN, also disabling any Firewall for testing purposes, can also help.

VPN fixed the issue- thanks guys
