The current pre-release of the client ("pioneer" in the version) is only compatible to itself. So you can only play with other testers. Please be aware!
Error message when starting up the client.

Can anyone tell me what this means. When i open the client I get the message "The specified location does not contain a valid Supreme Commander.exe and is therefore is no valid Forged Alliance installation".
I have a Steam version of Alliance and I linked the accounts as asked. -
looks like your steam linking wasnt successfulf. Did you set your steam profile to public priror to the steam linking?
Also, you need to run SCFA once from steam in order that FAF works. -

@Amygdala All resolved. As per our conversation Amygdala, it wasn't the Steam linking it was the FAF Client not pointing to the correct location on my PC.
