<![CDATA[Historical Replays and 404'd Links]]>Hi, all! I've a question around the online retention of historical replays and can't seem to find answers in the docs. the Replays & Live Games Wiki contains references to an online vault (https://wiki.faforever.com/en/Replay-Vault-&-Live-Games) and this link: http://content.faforever.com/faf/vault/replays_simple.php , both of which throw 404 Missing Page errors.

My brother and I are getting back into FAF after a 5-year hiatus, and for giggles I was attempting to look through some of our old games. A random example is: https://replay.faforever.com/12130868 , which promptly 404s. (which, more than fair!)

I believe, according to VindexNoob in https://forum.faforever.com/post/73432, that those games are unwatchable since they're older than four years old, but the physical files are still perhaps stored on a different server somewhere.

Is that still true, and if so, would it be possible to arrange access? My main interest is downloading our archived games, but I'm also a developer with spare Claude credits and I'd love to help out attempting to re-integrate older replays into the modern client.

In theory I can even offer to make them downloadable via a UI (this already exists) but I am hesitant to make it public so my internet doesnt go to shit if 10 people randomly decide "yeah i want everything" and starts to download everything.
Maybe I can limit it somehow, but havent figured it out yet.

(or they are not seeding)

Anything that's older than 2, 3 years or sth along these lines cannot be accessed as of now. I'm pretty sure the team will look into it at some point, but I believe it ain't high prio.
